 Reverend  Scott  Berman

Scott was born in September 1962 in New York, but, lived most of his adult years in Nevada.   He moved to Florida in late 2001 to marry Rosa and was baptized in 2004, on his wedding anniversary.

Scott was a volunteer chaplain with Suncoast Hospice and has also participated in a youth prison ministry with the Gideon’s. He is also involved with the online web ministry as well as  currently serving as the sport’s chaplain with Suncoast Umpires Association while serving as the Assistant Pastor, with Open Door Church in Clearwater Florida.

Having come from a non-christian home the following bible verse spoke volumes to him.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."( Matthew 7:7-8 NIV)
